We need someone who is passionate about online ad sales. You’ve really got to love talking to people, looking for new leads, cold calling, networking, and presenting the company. You should be someone who can really get behind our brand and discuss it in ways that are appropriate and creative. Being knowledgeable in women’s health, lifestyle, and pop culture topics that tie to fitness, diet, beauty, and wellness are definite pluses.
Ad sales responsibilities include:
- Following up on warm leads
- Cold calling
- Networking with agencies
- Closing sales deals
- Data entry (Highrise)
- Staying cool under pressure
- Connecting with new business via social media, events, and in person meetings

FabFitFun is looking for enthusiastic, smart and driven interns for the winter. We are a free daily e-mail format that uncovers the latest and greatest in fitness, beauty, diet and wellness. FFF is optimistic, fun, cutting edge, often funny and all about instilling confidence and power in women. E!'s Giuliana Rancic is the host of our site.
Editorial interns’ responsibilities include:
- copyediting for grammar, spelling, punctuation, style and usage
- maintaining media relations
- fact checking
- researching new products, diets, trends, etc.
- finding new, exciting story ideas for the daily e-mails
- some administrative duties
- writing fun, unique, intriguing, uplifting, funny content for our daily e-mails (probably without quite so many adjectives)
We would like someone who is extremely passionate about online writing and journalism. We need our daily newsletters to be filled with new, fun and entertaining content, so our intern should come with lots of ideas! Preferably we’d love someone who already has a strong interest in women’s health, lifestyle and pop culture topics – especially fitness, beauty, diet and wellness.
Qualifications:
We are looking at recent college grads or current students – ideally in pursuit of a related degree (e.g. Print or Online Journalism, English, Communications, TV/Radio/Film, etc.). Candidates with writing experience will be given preference. In addition, any knowledge of photoshop, SEO practices or HTML is preferred. Interns should be able to commit to 2-3 days a week at our WeHo offices.
Although we do want to see your resume and would love to find published writers, we are more interested in your ability to edit and write fresh, entertaining content for our site. Please take a look at the current FabFitFun site and write 2 sample pieces for our daily newsletter.
