The candidate will be a key part of the customer delivery team and be responsible for:
- Working with advanced data analytics tools to diagnose and suggest remedies for a variety of our customer's complex power quality issues.
- Providing extensive technical guidance and direction across a wide range of power management issues.
- Working as a member of a collaborative customer-focused team.
- Generating continuous customer feedback and providing product enhancement recommendations to the product development team.
- Possess the potential for a leadership role in customer delivery.

Qualifications

Sales Account Executive
Identify, prospect, qualify and close business for our SmartFusion Analytics software platform. Collaborate with our technical staff and proposal development with management approval. The Sales Account Executive will primarily hunt for new business in various assigned industries including Commercial and Industrial market sectors. A penchant for action is the primary quality required for success.
- SAE will be responsible for an assigned geographic territory and vertical industry specialties.
- The ability to research customers’ specific power problems, articulate an effective solution using the SmartFusion Analytics platform and then obtaining appropriate contract signatures is required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with an MBA or Master’s degree in a technical field preferred.
- 10-15 years of business experience selling enterprise solutions, experience selling to the (1) commercial market sector such as retail, education, healthcare or (2) professional business or the industrial sector such as metals, chemicals, glass, steel and refining and (3) including process manufacturing.
- A successful track record in selling and consistently meeting corporate revenue targets is a requirement.
- Knowledge of the electrical power business and its terminology and industry contacts is required. Without this knowledge, instructional courses in electrical engineering will be administered.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of electrical terms and subjects to maintain employment.

Software Engineer – Distributed Systems
We are seeking a passionate software engineer to help extend our Energy Management and Trading platform. The candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in developing and debugging distributed, web-based real-time systems. The candidate will be a key part of the engineering team and responsible for:
- Designing and developing transparent, scalable, and portable distributed/parallel structured software components for our proprietary SmartFusion Intelligent Analytics platform.
- Design and develop methods for storage and streaming of various data types at real-time or near real-time rates with extremely high fidelity.
- Design and develop methods for efficient search and annotation of stored data.
- Designing new features and applications for the platform, seeing development from conception and design through testing and deployment.
- Design and develop methods for efficient search and annotation of stored data.
Qualifications
- Extensive Java experience.
- Experience working with large-scale database systems and SQL.
- Strong Linux application development experience, especially real-time and multithreaded applications.
- Experience with large scale distributed computing such as MapReduce, Hadoop, cluster computing and similar systems/technologies.
- BS/MS Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
- 3-5 years of software development experience, ideally developing multi-threaded applications for network systems

Software Engineer – Energy Management Applications
kWantera has an immediate need for an application software engineer to help extend our Energy Management, and Trading platform. The candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in developing and debugging data-intensive dynamics web applications.
- Developing and testing client-side web applications using AJAX technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, HTML, and CSS)
- Work in collaboration with the customer account team to ensure browser compatibility for both cloud-based and hosted environments.
- Participating in the design process and documentation of the software architecture.
Qualifications
- Strong JavaScript, HTML and CSS programming experience for dynamic web-applications.
